To setup your video card (Radeon HD 6800 GT) to work with your system you need to change the configuration options in your Catalyst Control Center.
Open the Catalyst Control Center
Click on the Advanced tab
Uncheck the box labeled "Prefer maximum performance from the video card and CPU"
Click Apply
You need to do this for the AMD Radeon HD 6800 GT, (Sapphire Rv515-8790)
Download the Driver
Steam can be easily downloaded for Windows 7 or Windows 8. (Steam - Windows)
Windows 7 & Windows 8 (Metro): You can download it in the control panel -> Add/Remove -> search for "Steam"
Windows XP (classic): Download it at
Install Steam
Download and install the Steam client
Open Steam and login to your account
Click on the Games tab
Search for Final Fantasy
Install the game.
Your game will be automatically downloaded.
There is an option in the game settings that lets you run it in windowed mode.

A remake of Final Fantasy VII was announced by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 on July 19, 2006, as a "rebirth" of the original game and a "greatest hits" compilation. The remake was announced at the Game Developers Conference on March 22, 2007, and was officially revealed at E3 on June 11, 2007. Final Fantasy VII remake has two different releases; the first is a remake of the original Final Fantasy VII, including the original character models and the original battle and item systems, but with added 3D camera angles, music, and other modern features. The second release is a PS3 Classics version of the game, in which a few gameplay elements such as the job system and flying spells are removed.
Final Fantasy VII remake is the first game in the series that is not based on the Final Fantasy VII video game created by Square.
